Hello Campus Buyers,
As we slowly start re-entering campus as part of Phase 2, we wanted to give you an update on supply availability.
The UO has ordered reusable non-medical cloth masks for all employees and students, which will become available before the fall term. Currently, disposable surgical masks are available free of charge by the box until then.
Hand sanitizing stations have been ordered for campus buildings (excluding auxiliaries) and will be distributed by Facilities. Additional stations will not be available for purchase by departments due to scarcity.
Facilities will continue to maintain classrooms and common areas, but departments will be responsible for developing plans to wipe down commonly touched spaces within their department controlled spaces. The following CDC and UO guidelines can be useful in developing that plan. For staff already back on campus, we have hand sanitizer in several sizes, as well as other PPE and supplies. We have also put together a special package - the "Back to Work" kit - to allow offices to get the basics they need. A few supplies including wipes have been challenging to order, but our staff continues to work with vendors.
