University Code of Ethics

CONTRACTING WITH ANY BUSINESS WHICH YOU OR A FAMILY MEMBER HAVE ANY INTEREST IN MAY BE A CONFLICT.  IF YOU HAVE THIS SITUATION, PLEASE CALL PCS BEFORE PROCEEDING.

The University of Oregon requires that anyone who represents the university in any purchasing decision directly or indirectly, "On an annual basis, sign a statement that the employee has reviewed and will comply with the UO Procurement and Contracting Code of Ethics". These signed forms should be maintained in your office/department and are not to be sent into PCS. Although you personally may not be making the purchase of an item or items throughout the year, if you authorize commitment of funds or have signature authority or budget authority, you still are required to annually sign this statement.
