It is the policy of the University of Oregon (UO) that all businesses, including small, minority and women-owned businesses, shall be given the maximum practicable opportunity to compete for and be awarded contracts by UO.  The goal of this policy is to expand economic opportunities for historically underrepresented businesses by encouraging participation in UO contracting and purchasing.  If completing a competitive procurement, you must solicit at least one response from a state certified vendor.  If a certified vendor is not available, solicit at least 1 response from a self-reported Disadvantaged Business Entity (DBE) vendor.
