Welcome to UO Amazon Business Prime for Campus! On this page, you will find information and helpful resources to get your department set up for UO's Amazon Business Prime account.

How do I join?

In order to get set up please email uop2help@uoregon.edu the following information:

  • Permission to charge for Prime membership - Yearly fees will be calculated as a percentage of previous buying patterns. For additional information on this calculation please email Shari@uoregon.edu.
  • Index to charge for Prime membership
  • PCard Custodian email (must be a non-Duck Depot Pcard) - this person will be the default, local account administrator
  • Shipping Address(es) - use this spreadsheet for addresses
  • A list of PCard users using this spreadsheet *Please indicate the role of the user*
    • Administrator - Can run reports, set up a workflow, update cards, update addresses, add people and other department account maintenance
    • Requisitioner - Can shop and buy items on Amazon. Most users will be Requisitioners.
    • Finance - Can run reports and get accounting information but can NOT shop or set up rules, workflows or add information
    • You may do a combination of the roles

After this information is received and set up in the Amazon environment all users will receive an invitation. You may encounter one of three scenarios; Log in with DuckID (shibboleth) - new users to the Amazon environment with their uoregon.edu address, Convert Existing Account - users who have used their uoregon.edu account in Amazon before for business purchases ONLY and Create a Separate Account - for users who have used their uoregon.edu account in Amazon before for personal purchases. How much does it cost to join?

Do I need to wait for the annual renewal date, if I already have Business Prime for my department?

You do NOT have to wait for your annual renewal date. After PCS has set up your UO Amazon for Business Prime account please reach out to Amazon Customer Service and they will help you get a prorated refund for the remaining time for your non-UO Amazon Prime membership.

Is there any information I can give my Requisitioners to help them navigate?

Shopping on Amazon Business is a helpful overview of how the Amazon shopping experience works. Amazon Account Navigation is an overview of how to navigate the various options and scenarios that users may experience while using their Amazon accounts.

Is there any additional information for Administrators?

We recommend that you check the Administrator Best Practices tip sheet to help you establish a good routine for account maintenance. We also recommend looking at out to set up approvals and workflows in Amazon. This will help you to maintain or establish your interdepartmental approvals, processes, and workflows when purchasing on the Amazon platform.

Is there any information to help reconcile our PCard or a way to look at other order information?

Business Analytics on Amazon will be helpful for everyone but is especially helpful for Finance and Administrator roles. 

Are only PCard Users allowed to shop on UO Amazon Business?

After your Pcard user and administrator accounts are established you can work on setting up Approval workflow. Approval workflow will provide the administrator visibility and control over purchasing.

Help! I think my account is locked!

If your account gets locked please call 1-800-388-5512 to reach the account specialists at Amazon. They specialize in login and password issues.

I can't complete my purchase.

 The most common cause for not being able to complete a purchase is due to not being placed in a department group yet. This can often be fixed by reaching out to your local department administrator and having them request your addition to the department account.
